Meet Yasmin - Presidential Management Associate
How did you first connect with The Estée Lauder Companies?
I first connected with The Estée Lauder Companies through an on-campus career session at Wharton Business School, however it would be unfair not to say I have been connected to the ELC brands since the age of 13.
What attracted you to the company?
Prior to business school I worked in construction management, a predominately male-oriented industry. As a result, I knew that after business school I wanted to join a company that met the following criteria: women in leadership, a diverse talent pool and a global presence. When searching for roles in Supply Chain it was very important to join a company that prided itself on producing quality consumer goods. Not only was ELC all of these things, but so much more. ELC’s reputation as a top prestige beauty brand plus their renowned Presidential Management Program would allow me to experience various roles/facets that contribute to a company’s overall Supply Chain.

What has been the best part of being in a rotational program at ELC?
Exposure, Exposure, Exposure! The rotational program has provided me with so much exposure and leadership opportunities to learn and grow within my career. Whether it’s participating in quarterly leadership development sessions or presenting a project to top leaders within the company for implementation, the resources and support provided through the rotational program has increased my business acumen tenfold.
What is your current and previous rotations?
My current rotation is with our Melville Manufacturing Facilities working on various Operational Excellence projects. My current role on the team allows me to build upon my people and process management skillset, as I strive to seek more optimal ways to manufacture our products efficiently. The projects include implementing new processes, technologies, and standardization across our facility as we work toward a Factory of the Future. For my previous rotation I worked with Clinique’s Global Brand Supply Chain (GBSC) team and our Corporate Indirect Procurement Group focusing on our Professional Services strategy.
Are there any insights you can share since you started your rotations?
Leverage your time well within the program. You have the unique opportunity to meet and form relationships with so many great people across various departments. Also, learning agility is key; don’t be afraid to meet a challenge head on because this is a moment for curated discovery. Last, but not least, remember you are not alone. You are surrounded by people willing to help whether it’s your fellow PMA/PA class members, coaches or program alums.
Education: Wharton School of Business, MBA Operations, Information and Decisions (OID); Howard University, B.Arch, Architecture
Meet Romelle - Presidential Management Associate
What I do now:
I am the Executive Director, International Market Development, for the Estée Lauder brand. As a Presidential Management Associate, I rotated with Enterprise Marketing & Data Analytics, Corporate Marketing Analytics, and Clinique Global Product Marketing teams.
How I learned about the program:
During my first year of business school, I led a career trek to top retail and luxury goods companies in New York City. I learned about the PMA program on our visit to The Estée Lauder Companies.
Benefits of the Program:
Establishing a network at a new company can be incredibly difficult. The Presidential Management Associate program enables you to connect and work with great leaders across ELC and an amazing cohort of program participants and alums. Additionally, the rotations allow you to challenge yourself, learn new skills and figure out where you can succeed within the company.
Education: Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, MBA; The University of Iowa, BBA, Marketing & International Business
Meet Alisha - Presidential Associate
What I do now:
I am currently an Associate Design Director working on the Social Creative team at M·A·C Cosmetics. As a Presidential Associate on the creative track, I rotated on the Online, Digital Creative team the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Visual Merchandising and Store Design team and the M·A·C Cosmetics, Digital Creative and Innovation team.
How I learned about the program:
I always admired The Estée Lauder Companies’ diverse brand portfolio. During my senior year of college when I stared searching for jobs, I decided to look into the opportunities at ELC. With no expectations or prior knowledge about ELC’s full-time programs, I was delighted to learn about the Presidential Associate program and that it offers a creative track which was aligned with my design skill set and future aspirations.
Benefits of the program:
The Presidential Associate program is an excellent opportunity to gain professional experiences while continuing to learn. In addition to being able to rotate between brands and functions in order to gain a diverse array of experiences, Presidential Associates are also invited to attend numerous professional development seminars and informational lectures with executive leaders. For me, these resources and my rotational experiences, have helped me gain a more well-rounded understanding of the role of creative (my track) at ELC and what we as a function can do to continue to elevate creativity, and engage consumers.
Education: Boston University, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Graphic Design; Minor, Mass Communications
Meet Matthieu - Presidential Associate
What I do now:
I am currently a Global E-Commerce Manager on the Origins Brand, working with all relevant markets across our regions to align on Online Strategy for our upcoming campaigns and activations. My first rotation was on the corporate C.A.R.T team, revolving around collaborating with affiliates and partners for all brands in the ELC portfolio. Then I moved to the Origins Travel Retail team, ideating and supporting the brand’s upcoming campaigns in China and APAC. My final rotation was with La Mer's Digital Marketing team, where I focused on supporting our new product launches.
How I learned about the program:
I wanted to find a marketing-centric company based in New York, but with a Global footprint to match my international background. While researching for a summer internship as a rising senior I came across ELC’s 3-month Lauder Summer Internship program and realized it was a great fit that could eventually lead to a full-time position. At the end of my summer internship on the Estée Lauder Consumer Engagement team, I was offered to return permanently upon completion of my degree.
Benefits of the Program:
One of the core benefits of the CEO Global Presidential Associate program was the rotational component. This appealed to me for two main reasons. First, after three rotations in various sectors and groups at ELC, I knew I would be prepared to join any team, as working in different functions with their own unique priorities would help me understand the business as a whole. Second, this program gives me room to explore my likes and dislikes, and really hone in on what I excel at. The program also follows our growth closely, making each of us feel heard, supported and encouraged to strive for great things.
Education: McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, Bachelor of Arts in Management, Leadership & Innovation; Minor in History. French Baccalaureate in Socio-Economics, OIB.
